Lara, a young novelist, is spending the weekend at a remote house in the hills to work on her book.  When she gets lost around the area, she accepts a ride from a charming stranger called Mickey and invites him in for a glass of wine. But her new love interest also happens to be a ruthless hitman, and a romantic night in soon turns into a tense cat and mouse game- with deadly consequences.

'Ensnared' is a stylish, sometimes gritty thriller with enticing characters, exciting fights and a good dose of humor.  Nonetheless, its mission is also to shine a light on some of the flaws in the more corrupt pockets of our society, mainly our political and judicial system.  

The film is written, produced and directed by Katarina Severen with Matthew S. Robinson line producing.  Our director of photography is David M. Parks, who has more than 10 years of experience behind the camera, and has produced and directed several projects of his own.  His production company, RADCine, has completed projects for Netflix, Lionsgate and more. Ti Young, our lead, is an accomplished actress, as well as a former Muay Thai Bantamweight Champion and all around badass.

The project is currently in post-production.
